Summer Camps!
Summer camps will start June 16th!
Here are the camps/workshops that will be offered this summer.
Each camp will run Monday-Friday from 10am – 12pm, and all supplies will be provided.

JUNE 16-20 – Messy Art (Ages 6-8) – Messy Art Camp is exactly that – messy! Students will be very hands-on (and maybe even feet!) as we make our own paint; do a little spin painting; and paint like a famous artist using anything but a paintbrush. We will also paint with bubbles and even get a little messy making a plaster sculpture.
JUNE 23-27 – All About Horses (Ages 12-14) – This workshop is for the horse lover! Not only will we be learning interesting facts about horses and horse care (Miss Amy used to own horses!), we will be creating some fun horse themed art. From drawing to painting our own miniature model horses.
JULY 7-11 – Animal Art (Ages 9-11) – This camp is for your young animal lover! Each day of camp we will be learning about a different animal. Not only will we learn facts about the animal, we will create at least two animal themed art projects per day. The art projects will teach a different art principle and/or technique.
JULY 14-18 – All About Horses (Ages 9-11) – This workshop is for the horse lover! Not only will we be learning interesting facts about horses and horse care (Miss Amy used to own horses!), we will be creating some fun horse themed art. From drawing to painting our own miniature model horses.
JULY 21-25 – Nature Art (Ages 6-8) – In this hands-on camp we will be making some creative art using items from nature as well as making nature-themed art. We will learn some facts about nature and texture in this fun camp.
JULY 28 – AUGUST 1 – Acrylic Painting (Ages 13-17) – Miss Amy is a realistic animal acrylic artist. She will walk students through the process of taking a photo of their pet or favorite animal and turning it into a realistic acrylic painting. Students will learn techniques that can also be applied to other styles of painting.
AUGUST 4-8 – Sculpture Art (Ages 12-14) – Experience the variety of sculpture in art as we work with plaster; resin; apoxie clay and even create some miniature dioramas.
AUGUST 11-15 – Scenic Painting for Theater (Ages 13-17) – Miss Amy has several years experience painting for theater. Students will learn about different tools and paints as well as color theory. They will also learn how to create realistic brick; marble; metal and wood. Painting for stage is a little different than painting on a canvas and we will learn the difference.
Fees
$150 per camp
$25 discount per sibling
$25 discount per additional camp attended
Invoices will be emailed a week before the camp starts. Payment will be due by the first day of camp.
CLASS FEES AND DISCOUNTS:
One hour Zoom Art Class is $20 per class invoiced monthly.
Sibling class discount is $5 per sibling per class
Multiple class discount is $5 per additional class
Limited partial scholarships are available.
